I touched up the highlights so they really stand out, cleaned up the edges for a professional look, and finished with a gloss varnish for a soft glow. This is the next best thing to having an original. There is a signature in the print itself, but it’s also signed on the back, just like my originals, to signify it was embellished personally by me.
Notes: I scanned the original on an Epson scanner at 400 dpi and 300% enlargement. At this size you can see the paper texture and every brush stroke. Colors were matched to the original in Photoshop. Add all this to the texture of the canvas and a high-quality print makes this a great piece to get lost in the abstract textures, colors, rhythms. Overall, it gives a room a soft warm autumn feel. Up close it is meditative and soothing.
