Original: charcoal on toned canvas, 8×10

I love squirrels. Just seeing one always makes me smile. This piece was done on a toned canvas. The rusty orange color and brush texture gives a worn leather appearance with colors reminiscent of autumn. The varnish over the original gives the charcoal a soft glow, which comes through on the print as well. This print looks great in a rustic or barn wood frame. A black or linen mat is recommended or trim the larger size to fit an 8×10 frame with no matting.
