Goldfinch and Chicory

Original: acrylic on canvas, 8×10.

Hiking through a park with my wife, I was amazed at how vibrant the chicory was. Along one of the roads a grouping was backlit and created a lovely scene. A goldfinch landed on one of the stalks, picking out some seeds to eat. The colors together were amazing and I had to come home and recreate the moment.

6x8 print on 8x10 paper, white border. Add directly to 8x10 frame with no matting.
